We (the Scottsdale Property Sisters-Dyan Carbone & Dawn Lorie Norman) are from the Chicagoland Area. And, we were raised in a multi-generation real estate-builder family with Eastern European roots in Prague as 2nd & 3rd generation granddaughters. Our maternal great grandfather and grandfather contractors built 40+ unit apartment buildings in Berwyn, Ill that still stand today. And taught the builder/brick-layer trade to our father in the 1960s-and built our first house. Debra, our older sister is an architect (a dream both our mother & father shared for her) and we have two general contractor brother-in-laws. In the 1980's we moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, went back to Chicago, then returned in the late 90s. We love the Arizona lifestyle, weather and real estate. Together we (Dyan & Dawn) have 50+ years of real estate experience.

In my youth, I loved to rearrange the furniture in my friend’s homes for fun. After a successful multi-decade career in the entertainment and pharmaceuticals industries, I excitedly changed careers to serve as a Realtor in 2005. I most enjoy partnering with buyers & sellers to help them define their real estate vision and achieve their real estate goals. My husband, teen-daughter and I enjoy our time leading an active outdoor lifestyle. Volunteering at my daughter’s school on the PSO as a High School Vice President and Grade Level Ambassador is a great passion of mine. I enjoy being part of a team that contributes to the school to support a best-self environment for all students and families to thrive. To assist the school and community to work together to make it the best it can be for today and for years to come gives me great joy. I volunteer at various school functions that provide opportunities for the students to build relationships both in the school and our community, as well as with the high school tennis team.
In addition, my daughter and I serve as members of the National Charity League; we partner with various charities like Gigi's Playhouse, Loving Library, The Kindness Campaign, Operation Gratitude, UMOM, Phoenix Mountain Post-Acute Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center, Honor Health, Hospice of the Valley, Feed my Starving Children and more.
When I find time for me-time…I enjoy other passions such as songwriting, further managing and developing a moms/parenting blog, writing, tennis, and time with family and friends.
